GENERAL NEWS
Vegas Shatters Heat Record: Sizzles at a Scorching 120°F

Hope you're staying cool, because on a scale of 1-10 our city just cranked up the heat to an 11!

On Sunday, we didn't just break the all-time high temperature record, we obliterated it. The mercury hit a mind-boggling 120°F at 3:38 p.m., making us hotter than a poker chip on the final table at WSOP!

Despite the scorching heat, most locals took it in stride. As one resident put it, "Sure, it's hot, but that's only for two and a half months. Then we have nine months of great weather."

But don't worry, folks. The city's keeping its cool. NV Energy reported minimal outages, and cooling stations are open to help beat the heat.

So, whether you're baking cookies on your dashboard (yes, that happened) or dreaming of a dip in what’s left of Lake Mead, remember to stay hydrated and keep that AC cranking. After all, what happens in Vegas... gets really, really hot!

HUKL Hospitality Bets Big on Vegas Dining Scene with $55 Million Restaurant Spree

Vegas foodies, get ready to loosen those belts because HUKL Hospitality is about to shake up our dining scene faster than a cocktail at Herbs and Rye.

This local powerhouse is dropping a cool $55 million on four mouthwatering projects that'll have you drooling from Boca Park to the southwest.

Let's break it down:

First up, La Madre Canyon Grill is getting a $1.8 million facelift. Think upscale comfort food with a side of swanky new digs.

Next, Ciao Vino is bringing high-end Italian to Boca Park. With a Marra Forni pizza oven and a chef's table, it's like a slice of Venice in the desert.

But the real showstopper? That's Skyline, a $50 million three-story food paradise.

It's like they took all our culinary dreams and stacked them in one building!

Last but not least, Chickn N Dipnz is bringing Korean-style rotisserie to the southwest. With a custom rotisserie that can cook 45 birds at once, it's poultry perfection on an industrial scale.

West Henderson Scores Big: $70 Million Indoor Sports Complex In The Works

Henderson residents, get ready to flex those muscles and break a sweat, because a game-changing sports complex is coming our way!

The City Council just green-lit a $70 million indoor sports and entertainment facility that'll have you saying "game on" faster than you can lace up your sneakers.

This 180,000-square-foot behemoth is set to touch down at St. Rose and Maryland parkways in the next two years.

We're talking four basketball courts, two turf fields, a fitness center, and even a full-service restaurant for when you work up an appetite.

And the best part? Henderson residents get a sweet 20% discount on most services!

This isn't just about fun and games, though.

The complex is expected to pump $39.1 million into our economy and create jobs faster than a fast break.

Plus, it's a win-win for the city, with private companies handling the day-to-day operations.

So, who's ready to play ball in Henderson's newest hotspot?!

Thanks!
